Yep, I also had to avoid onions while I was recovering, but they were OK after I had been in remission for about a year and a half.

I freeze everything now and cook it frozen, no thawing in refrg for my food. Freeze deli meat, everything!

Yes, I get most of the Mast Cell symptoms, luckily, not the bloating but the itching, mucus, and itchy and dry eyes. Tummy is better today, I had that leg if lamb I desperately wanted on Friday and even made homemade mint sauce. It was wonderful.
