Most of us cook at home in order to avoid the problems of contaminated processed foods. I use corn tortillas to make roll-ups to take the place of sandwiches. But if you decide to try them (if they are even available for sale in Poland), be sure you look for gluten-free corn tortillas. Do not accidentally buy flour tortillas, because they are loaded with gluten. Some companies also make rice tortillas that are safe.
I looked at the tortillas, but probably we don't have tortillas without wheat here. Maybe I should look around somewhere else.

If you want to read it on a computer, then a PDF file would work (and a PDF file will also work on many mobile digital devices, if they have Adobe Reader, or some other PDF interpreter), but if you want a format that will work properly on an iPad or a kindle, or some other digital reading device, I would need to know what type you have.
Thank you very much! A pdf file would be the best for me.

Thank you Crevin & Brandy. I'll try to eat food without the ingredients list. :)
Welcome, Michal! Sounds like you and I have a similar profile. I too developed LC after stopping an SSRI antidepressant (Prozac) and have struggled with digestive problems since my early 20's. I strongly believe that stress and anxiety have a huge role to play in triggering this disease. I've tried other non-SSRI drugs in the past and none of them work for me. Eventually, I ended up just having to go back on the Prozac. I now feel 100% better mentally/emotionally and have picked up some weight, but I still haven't been able to get the diarrhea under control (at least not without using Imodium). My issue seems to be antibodies (I react to most foods), so I'm trying to really clean up my diet by eliminating all the major triggers. It doesn't leave me many options, but if it works in the end, it'll all be worth it. :) I take 4 Imodium pills daily in order to function, which does help. Am also trying LDN, but will likely move on to budesonide if the LDN does not work after a month or so. Please know that you are not alone! You've come to the right place for support and guidance. Glad you found this group (but sorry you had to do so). Hang in there!
Hi Lucy, sorry to hear you're in similiar situation. Of course stress and anxiety play a huge role, after I've stopped taking SSRI's I was in really bad condition with a lot of stress and anxiety and then GI problems developped like a thunder. I feel sorry that You haven't found better antidepressant for your GI. Hope this LDN will do something for you. You have of course tried any of the trycyclic antidepressants, haven't you?

I decided to take one pill with L-Tryptophan a day, cause I was in bad condition few days ago. I don't know if it really does something bad with my belly.

Hi Michal,

I have sent you an email and the PDF file is attached to it. If you do not receive it, or if you are not able to open the file on your computer and read it, please let me know and I'll try something else.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Yep, same here. So funny that I was just fine until I went off my meds, lol. I've read that tryptophan (or 5-HTP, etc.) can exacerbate digestive issues, so I'd be careful there. I have not attempted tricyclics due to the side effect profile. SSRI's definitely work best for me, and I don't believe that they caused my LC. Rather, I believe it was a result of unchecked food sensitivities occurring over a long period of time (mostly likely due to problems with leaky gut, etc.). I definitely haven't gotten any worse after going back on the Prozac. If anything, things are a bit better. Have you tried SAM-e?
2005- Crohn's dx (later changed to "IBS")
2010 to present- Recurrent miscarriages (9)
2012 to present- Elevated thyroid antibodies and TNF-a
2012- tested compound heterozygous for MTHFR mutation
2015- LC dx
