In the bugs again...I think

Post by annie oakley »

You all know, cause I posted it, that I got sick about two weeks ago and got some atibiotics, cough syrup with codene and all that stuff. Yesterday I got up with a sore throat and a cough, draining sinuses....you all know that drill. I thought ok...I usually keep sinus infections becasuse I need to get the left sinus fixed. (it's plugged and I have a deviated syptum, Probably spelled wrong) I figured it was the same crud I had before. But My primary DR thinks I have such a bad sinus infection from letting it go so long....he lectured me that I shpuld have come in last week when My sinuses acted up. :duh: He's a cool doctor....he was a doctor in Viet Nam. Anyway He gave me antibiotics..a very strong one called Augmenten, which I have had before. I coughed so hard yesterday and last night that I pulled a muscle in my chest. I guess that will teach me to wait to go to the Doctor huh? :mallet: Love Oma

I'm so very glad you went on to the Doctor, Oma. Those sinus infections can be the devil to get rid of and can cause an awful lot of problems. Can be downright dangerous if they are bad enough.

Hi Oma,

I hope the antibiotic clears it out quickly. The weather's too nice to be sick. It felt like spring, yesterday, here in Central Texas.

Oma,

I can tell you this. I went to the store to get something for sinuses (for Dave) and the aisle was crowded with people looking for cold and flu products. I grabbed one and ran! It was the only crowed aisle in the store.

Hope you feel better soon. Love, Jean

Hope the antibiotics clear up the sinus infection SOON! It's no fun being sick!
