Emoticons

Post by tex »

Hi All,

I've added a bunch more smilies. It appears that I've hit the limit for the software to handle, so I had to remove a few of the ones that I thought we could get by without, in order to add a few that I thought most of us would enjoy more.

Since everyone's taste differs, if I removed one of your favorites, and you can't live without it, tell me which one it was, and which one you want to remove, and I'll switch them out. We should now have enough smilies to fit most situations, but if you know of one or more that we still need, please let me know, especially if you know where I can find it/them.

We are short on good bird emoticons, but I havn't had much luck finding any. If anyone knows of a good source for some, please let me know.

In case anyone is unable to locate all the extra smilies, you have to click on the "View more Emoticons" below the emoticons displayed to the left of your message-composing window.

Love,
Tex :knight:

I love the :knight: too. It's perfect. Wondering if the "war horse" has an IBD too??

I really LOVE so many of the new smilies. I keep looking for ways to use them. Guess I'll just have to play a bit. :chicken:

Hi Allice,

I've had that happen to me too, and after I closed some windows, I discovered that the emoticon window was buried under the other windows. This usually happens when I forget to close the emoicon window after using it. :duh:

When that happens, you can see an extra "key" in the task bar, and if you click on it, the emoticon window will come back to the top. Clicking on "view more Emoticons", won't bring it back to the top, for some reason or other.

Love,
Tex

Hi Christine,

That was the problem. Thanks for pointing it out.

Wayne,

Can you email me some of these emoticons? I want to incorporate them into my IM, but I tried copying and saving by right clicking on the images, and the most I can get is a freezeframe, which is not as good.. that drinking one is TOO CUTE.. LOL Plus, I'd like to bring some into some editing software and make some changes to personalize some of them LOL. Also would like to try changing the bottle on this one :drinking: to a pepto bottle LOL
