Stayed In

Post by annie oakley »

I stayed home today instead of going Job hunting. It has only been the last 2 hours that I can swallow with not so much pain. SO It was a good choice staying home...I may not go out tomorrow either. I may wait for Thursday or Friday. haven't had much appetite but that's to be expected with sinuses draining as they are. I guess alot of people have nasty sinuses infections. My own Sister emailed me tell me me she to was having sinus problems. But I beleive the antibiotics he gave me are working. Now to get rid of the headache. I have an Ultram I will take. SInce the tylenol failed to help. But I am in good spirits and feel I am getting better. Sorry I missed the Chat last night....but I didn't feel much like visiting. Love Oma

I'm glad you are taking care of yourself Oma. Running on half energy won't do you any good! Cuddle with the fur babies and drink some warm tea and feel better soon!

I understand what you're saying about the sinus infections. They are pretty bad here with the weather being in the high 50s one day and in the 30's the next! Man, you have to wear layered clothing just to be comfortable!

Oma,
I sure hope you are feeling a bit better today. Please keep on taking care of yourself and don't rush it.

I stayed home today also. Got the home made remedy out last night. My mother used to make a steaming bowl of water with vicks in it. I made one with lavender in it. To see if I can pen the sinuses up. My SIL (dispatcher w/police) said all their officers are sick with this stuff. Love Oma

Sorry you're missing another day of job-hunting, but you are wise to try to get well first. Who'd hire someone who says, "By doze is stuffy"? I think Vicks is a great remedy. Can't imagine lavendar has the same effect--or did you use both? Good luck getting better.
