I hope you're feeling much better by now. Have you been able to schedule that appointment yet?
We're getting a good, soaking rain here in Central Texas tonight. I hope you've been getting some rain there, too.
Love,
Wayne

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Hi Oma,
We had a 40% chance of rain this afternoon, for East of I35. (I live about 8 or 9 miles East of I35 at about the 280 mile marker). and a 20% chance of rain tonight. It sprinkled a little this afternoon, but tonight we're having thunderstorms, with honest-to-goodness decent rain.

Wayne

Having grown up on the east cost where a rainy day was just a rainy day I realized years back that I had become a high desert westerner when I was recording rain fall in the hundredths of inches. A fast squall moved through Monday leaving .15 in the rain gauge. Lots and lots of snow in the mountains but virtually nothing in the foot hills. March and April are the snowiest months in Denver so am hoping we have a wet spring. Just have to be careful what I wish for.

Wow, that Polly sure can dance!!!
Yep, Wayne, south of I-10, we got a good soaker rain. We'd had a tornado watch expected, but I don't think that panned out, even north of I-10 where the real heavy stuff fell. Sure hope our tornado-damaged trees perk up soon. I'm still a bit worried about them. Everything else thinks it's already spring around here. They could be in for a BIG surprise! Funny to see roses this time of year, but we'd be seeing more if I could've been out picking them after each bloom, but the patient here is just to unpredictable this season, and too much else to do when my sis is sitting with her.
Anyway, I'm realllllly happy that the southwest is finally getting some relief. Let's hope for more regular ones like this for a while til we get caught up. Wonder what kind of spring we're in for? The azaleas will really be messed up, but some of the folks with hired gardners around town have been doing some special kinds of things to play tricks on their azaleas. Think they put ice on em.
Yours, Luce

You can all gladly have some of our rain! We have had more than our fair share! Can I ship some to you? On top of that, we are expecting 60 mph winds on Saturday morning (will have a scary trip to the ski area) and this is especially bad because of the soggy earth...I'm afraid there will be many trees down.
Stay tuned...JJ
