Post by twirlitgirl »

Just stopping in to wish everyone celebrating or not a safe and wonderful holiday in anyway you can .May you do the best you are able with whatever choice you choose to eat this or that it is up to you and you know your body will help with that plan. May your suffering be slight if an encounter is not great with some christmas delight ,but most of all make this holiday bright for those you love and love you Happy New Year to all . Be your own best friend and don't let tempations of food from others win. You can do it. :pigtail:

Hi, and the same to you! My mom just asked me what I'm going to eat on Christmas Eve. I told her that I'll bring my own..that's how I roll. Nothing is worth taking a chance at becoming sick! A friend is having a group over for "pizza and wine" this coming week. I haven't decided yet while I'll take there to try to fit in. There's not much in my food arsenal that fits in with pizza & wine but I look forward to good company.

Thanks Twirlitgirl.

I hope that your holidays are most enjoyable too, and the New Year brings health and happiness.

Happy Holidays! It will be a little quite around here on Christmas day as the family is going on a cruise. I'm to ill with the stomach and unreliable with energy to handle something along those lines. It should be a good time though come New Years when everyone returns to celebrate a birthday/ New Years combo. Living in Florida we're liable to party late, to the wee hours of 10:00.

thank-you Gabes all the best to you and yours as well, I have admired you and your positive attitude so much reading your posts always puts a smile on my face and then I feel more positive to get through any setbacks or obstacles in my way.
Marcia K, If you can tolerate spagetti squash and after it is cooked mix it with herbs and olive oil and then adding some crumbled cooked turkey bacon or meat you want it is delicious I don't miss the cheese or the tomato sauce.
I also have individual packets of vegetables already cooked with my lamb chop underneath in parchment paper ( cordon bleu folded) I pop those in the oven to warm them up and eat like a fun gourmet meal, pulling them apart on my plate and just love the steam that comes out with the aroma , just makes me so hungry and happy. My family always wonder what I will do to make it fun for me. Ha! I have used fish in place of the lamb as well, it is so delicious with salmon... yummmm
Tex, wishing you as well a beautiful holiday and continued health and happiness for 2016. I am always in awe of your kindness and generosity of your time to each and everyone here to help when we reach out from the many corners of the world. many blessings to you.

Merry Christmas to everyone on this board also!

I'm doing ok....made a couple Erica Safe treats and will just be enjoying watching everyone do their own thing around me.

I've certainly appreciated everyone here, more than they will ever know. When I start to feel a little lost inside I come here and read this an that and it picks me up to keep carrying on again.

This biggest gift of all for me are the Friends I've found at this site :santasleigh:
