Hi Linda,
I'm sorry to hear that is your Dr's thoughts about MC, LC or CC. So far there are plenty of people here that say and feel otherwise. The info at this site would Blow Dr's Minds Away, wouldn't it?

I would recommend Dr Steven Sandberg-Lewis NT in Portland, OR. You can see him in his private practice or at the College for Naturopathic Medicine. He can prescribe RX and knows it takes longer that 6 weeks. He also knows diet change is a must. I was on the lowest dose for 1 yr. Have been off since Nov 2015 and have been great. Of course I still follow grain free, gluten free, soy free etc.

Excellent physician

Post by terry313401 »

the dr. who diagnosed my CC is:

Timothy Mecredy, Belair Rd, Evans, GA

He's an excellent physician, very kind, patient, and although he wasn't highly experienced with CC in 2004-2005, he did a lot of research and reading on my behalf. Staff in his office were also excellent. I would recommend him without reservation and wish I still lived there and could have him again.

My current physician, S. Chandrahasagowda is also very good. He's more experienced with CC and I've been seeing him for five years. He is at Gastrointestinal Clinic of Quad Cities. 4340 7th Street. Moline, IL 61265

JCML,

I must have somehow missed your post earlier, but all is well because Dr. Sandberg-Lewis was apparently recommended by another member earlier, because he has been on the list for a while.

Thank you for recommending him, however.

Terry,

I've added both of the doctors you recommended to the list.

Thanks. Our list continues to slowly grow.

Enterolab Testing

Post by weeZ »

I have been out to the EnteroLab site and note a large variety of tests available - Do you believe the Panel A1 + C1: Comprehensive Gluten/Antigenic Food Sensitivity Stool Panel to be a "Good Start" in identifying potential issues?

Yes, those 2 panels are the ones that most members order because they cover most of the foods that are likely to be a problem for MC patients.

I'm sorry to have to report that no one has recommended any doctors in that area, or even anywhere close. Good GI specialists who are qualified to treat MC are still tough to find.

I went to a physical medicine doctor today that prescribed low dose naltrexone for me. Her name is Dr. Yenchick. In Roseville, Michigan.
She said the low dose naltrexone will help with the auto immune aspect of the disease. I also have Hashimotos thyroiditis. You can look up lowdosenaltrexone.org to see what it's all about. It also helps with Chrohns as well

Where is this list please?

Post by Jumpindogs »

I've looked all over the forum and cannot find the actual list of doctors. I know it's here...I found it once before. Did a search and couldn't find it that way either. Sorry but could someone please point me to it? Thanks!

Thanks Gabes! How should I have searched to find this? I sorta feel like a dork for not being able to.
