I didn't read that article, but the bottom line (if you happen to be homozygous for monoamine oxidase (MAO-A) on your 23andme test results), is that you have an increased risk of being sensitive to histamine. I happen to be homozygous for MAO-A, and histamine is definitely a problem for me.
