One of the Best Things that's Happened Since I got MC

Post by Alchemy1 »

I'm pretty much over the public bathroom embarrassment stuff because I've had MC for so long. BUTT!!! I've found a wonderful, all natural product, that eliminates bathroom odors better than anything! Everyone LOVES this stuff because it really does WORK!! You can even get a purse spray or carry a sample spray in your pocket. And if you could use a laugh, watch the videos on this site...they're a HOOT!

I could have used that when the D was rampant. The smell wasn't fit for man nor beast! The videos are funny!

I love having it with me because I tend to flare a lot from the stress of my job. This is such a great product and I wish I'd had it back in the day when I was running to the can 50+ times!!

From an atavistic viewpoint one could consider the odor of BMs associated with MC to be sort of a unique primal attribute — a way of marking "our territory" (aka every bathroom we visit).

And oh the bathrooms I have visited, Tex...and arroyos, and trees, and mesquite bushes, and ditches. I've marked my territory all over this state!!! :millianlaugh:

Yep, I live on a farm, and as I used to say (back when my MC was still active), "When you live on a farm or ranch, the world is your outhouse."

Fortunately I work on a very large military base where there are hundreds of square miles of desert "outhouse" for me to take advantage of when needed! I carry my "latrine kit" with me wherever I go. It has a garden spade, biodegradable backpacking toilet paper, and wet wipes/hand sanitizer to use before I get back in the truck or go back to work. The guys on my crew are always teasing me when we go up range (a three to five hour drive). When they see a really big mesquite bush, or an arroyo, they always yell out "THERE'S A GOOD SPOT FOR YA, KIM!". At least they have a sense of humor about it and are always understanding when we have to make an unexpected stop. I also have to be careful of rattle snakes and scorpions when choosing my latrine. There are lost of different types of poisonous snakes, and insects, which makes my free-range outhouse usage somewhat scary...especially during the summer. I have to throw rocks into my chosen spot to make sure I'm not sharing it with an unwanted visitor!

I'm hoping that particular part of my life will be over soon. I've been carrying my latrine supplies with me since 2008 which is long enough! It hasn't been a big problem until I took my present job. I spend a lot of time traveling, and out in the field, which can be miserable when I'm in a bad flare. Fortunately I grew up backpacking and camping so the outdoors is a totally acceptable latrine for me.
