Oskri Coconut Bars

Good morning! For those who can tolerate coconut, I found Oskri Coconut Bars at T.J. Maxx. The only ingredients are coconut and brown rice syrup. We went to a retirement party last night and as usual I took my own dinner and had a coconut bar while the others were eating cake. Funny thing, I used to love desserts but when I looked at the cake it really didn't appeal to me. I was happy as a clam with my coconut bar. The only thing that would have made it better was hot water for the peppermint tea that I took along.

I think the 'Paleo' trend has been a great influence with the commercialisation of these types of treats

additionally, more stores are stocking various forms of coconut oil and quality ingredients due to demand.

Thanks, Gabes. It's nice to enjoy a treat without worry. Sometimes they have them on the lowest shelf and I'm almost crawling on the floor to find them. But that's okay, they're worth it!
