Liquid Magnesian Question

I just ordered some liquid magnesian. Can I apply it directly to the troubled area? In my case, my extreme lower back that spasms, crackles and pops constantly unless I am sitting or lying down. I also have a lot of weakness in the back of my legs. I use a cane or rollator to for balance. If things progress the way they are now, I see a scooter by next year.

stomach
top of legs

Thanks Gabes. I thought it was going well until I had a yucky accident last night...see my post today. I just discovered Udi's website with a ton of recipes I can modify if I need to. Pinterest works well also and I have started some Gf/DF/SF boards. Also have my food diary that I'm faithful to keep up with. I am very hopeful but get really down when I've had an accident and have to have my hubby help clean me up. He's so good at helping but it still is humiliating.
