I am posting this for information only. I read that you shouldn't take Budesonide if you have Glaucoma....I questioned my eye doctor about this at my appt. and was told that if I start taking the Budesonide to let him know and we would need to check my eye pressure while I am taking it.

When I saw my GI specialist (after I was diagnosed from a colonoscopy) he told me about all the side effects of being on Budesonide. I remembered that although I never got a formal diagnosis of Glaucoma, I was told by the eye specialist that I had high pressures which he has been monitoring for many years. I then spoke with my eye specialist, and he told me that even though there are no signs of damage and possibly the higher pressures are "normal" for me, I would have to be checked while on Budesonide if I chose to take it.
