In remission thanks to this board!

Post by Betsbrooks »

Hi everyone,
I haven't been here for awhile! I feel very good compared to last year at this time. That was when I was diagnosed and found you all. I was reading all the new posts day and night for at least 9 months. Without you I probably would have been still out of control. Now I am able to eat more variety (I kept to lamb, rice and squash for many months) and only avoid gluten and dairy.
Thank you to everyone who posts, and especially Tex - your book started me on the right road.

Hi Betsy,

That's wonderful news. Thank you for posting an update on your recovery. Such an uplifting update is very helpful for newly-diagnosed members who are trying to decide whether or not to make the diet changes that most of us have made.

I hope that your remission lasts forever,
Tex
