Ice Cold Neck And Shoulders
Hi all,
My neck and shoulders are always ice cold, even to the touch. I use wool scarves around my shoulders, but it does not help. I even go to sleep with a wool scarf around my shoulders. Of course, this is a very minor problem of all the MC issues we experience, but I’m just curious. I have always been the frozen type, and maybe I should have been born in a warmer climate, but I wonder if this is a sign of some sort?

managing body temperature is linked to multiple issues and can be hard to pinpoint
it can be linked to thyroid, it can also be linked to nerve damage,
might be a bit of trial and error to figure out root cause.
I struggle in heat and humidity, opposite to Linda. I am enjoying the cooler autumn (fall) weather!

Thank you Gabes. I'm not complaining about the Norwegian winter, because I have this constant feeling of cold "draft" in my neck, and my shoulders are so cold. A huge difference to touch my other body parts which are warm, but my shoulders and neck are cold as ice.

Lilja,
I have a similar problem some of the time, but it also involves my arms and hands. I blame it on neurological damage caused when I ran too low on B-12 and/or magnesium for years. But of course I'm just guessing.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
As Robert De Niro would say, "You talkin' to me?"
I didn't know that anyone ever tested for iodine deficiency. My diet contains plenty of iodized salt.
In Lilja's case, fish are rich in iodine (among other foods).
