Almond Butter

Post by terre »

I just found out today that I can no longer get "raw creamy almond butter" at my health food store (the owner is looking for a replacement)...they said the company is no longer making it.

Could anyone pass along any brands they really like?

Thanks,
Terre

I usually use cashew butter, but if I want almond butter I order this one:

Thanks for posting Jari....we do not have a Costco and I tried to look it up on their site, but nothing came up (probably put it in wrong).....anyway, thank you for the info.

Tex, I would love to use cashew butter, but cashews and I don't have a good relationship....so I will check into the almond butter you listed....thank you for the link.

I couldn't find it on Costco's site, but I found it here:

I don't have a good relationship with ANY nuts, but I do well with both almond and cashew butter.

Trader Joe's has raw almond butter too, if you have one in your area.

I don't buy it too often because I will devour that stuff! LOL. Bad move.

Thanks Jari, Tex and Kristen....you've given great advice and I may be able to get at least one of the products locally.

if the products are not available locally - see if you can purchase them online.. the small delivery fee is worth it to get MC safe products!

We use Woodstock almond butter. No sugar added, just ground almonds.

I also make my own nutbutters. It's easy and safe! 🙂
