Thanks to past posts I was able to find a solution for a bladder infection that's trying to take hold. D-mannose was recommended by Tex to another sufferer, so I ran down to Walgreens. Of course they didn't have the powder form, but I did find a new product called Cystex that has it as an active ingredient. I'm not recommending yet--time will tell. But was. so glad to have a direction to go besides antibiotics.
Once again you all have come through. Thank you!

Laura,
Good luck with the treatment. It should work relatively quickly if the infection is just getting started.
Keep us posted.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
I hope it works for you, Laura. After reading about D-Mannose on here I ordered some from Vitacost. I haven't needed it but I'm glad I have it just in case.
