Vitamin IV Therapy

Post by mcnomore »

Has anyone done this, any opinion? I can't tolerate vitamins orally so I wear a patch with vitamin Bs and another with vitamin D3 which work well as I have tested them with blood tests. However, I can't find a multivitamin patch with methyl folate or without folic acid.

I have done B12 (active form) as daily injections 6-9 months ago, got them via Compounding pharmacy

I found them very good, and I would have loved to continue that way but it is very expensive, 2 months worth cost $140, and in my current situation I can not afford them

I think Vera (zizzle) did some Vit C + other stuff as IV treatment recently.

Here in the Bay Area B-12 shots are given for $25 at cocktail hour type events:

"Got Vitamin B12 is the Bay Area's number one source for Vitamin B12 injections! We have six locations to serve you in San Francisco, Oakland, and Mill Valley.

Licensed Naturopathic Doctors administer the shots, and we only use the finest forms of Vitamin B12 on the market, which we source from a San Francisco compounding pharmacy.

We call our events Vitamin B12 Happy Hours, because they are fun, vibrant, and everyone always leaves happy and upbeat. Vitamin B12 Happy Hours take place Monday-Saturday, and they are a pop-up style, so it allows us to keep our expenses low, and our prices exceptional."

Depends on the dosage you are getting for the $25

mine was daily injections - so it was $2.35 per day for the two months -

One thing i have found since having MC, i do much better on daily dosage for things like this rather than doing mega dosage once a month.
this principle is also relevant to the methylation cycle.
