Dry Skin and Black Clothes
Hi,
As I have already mentioned several times, I'm remission and SO grateful to this forum! Because, if it hadn't been for this forum I'm afraid that I would still have been stumbling in the dark, fighting alone.
However, there is one symptom that is very annoying (I can tolerate it, but it's annoying).
My skin is so dry! White little "snowflakes" are falling off of my body, and it's everywhere. I can put on some newly washed black jeans in the morning, and when I undress in the evening my jeans and my sweaters and my black bra are all white inside, covered with what you would believe was dandruff.
I supply with magnesium (both oil spray and tablets) up to 400-600 mg each day. Before I started supplying magnesium my clothes would be white inside, so it cannot be due to the magnesium oil, also because I only apply the oil on my legs and arms, not on my back. My sweaters are covered with white "dandruff" also inside on the back of my sweaters.
I have psoriasis, but no spots or visible symptoms from pso anymore. These tiny dead skin flakes are not at all similar to the ones I used to have when my psoriasis was active.
I wonder when this will go away. I believe I do everything correct, both with diet and supplements.
And I'm so tired of having to hoover everyday, and the feeling of having "dirty" clothes..
I know this is a minor problem, but I appreciate your comments

Thank you, Gabes! I will try coconut on my skin.
I have pyrolles as well, as you know.
(Digression: At my last visit at my functional medicine doctor, he mentioned that he has pyrolles as well, "and you know, Lilja, we are a little bit crazy". Ha ha ha )

You're entirely bonkers. But I'll tell you a secret. All the best people are.

12 months or ago, this was the key elements my hair mineral analysis results;
High iron – Hostility
High copper – prevalent in schizophrenics
Manganese – irritability, anxiety and emotional detachment (psychopathic murders)
Lithium deficiency – depression
that coupled with the pyrolle issues, I sent the results to a friend with a note, if i get arrested for a bad crime please use these results as part of my defense
there was major chemical imbalance going on in my body!

Lilja,
It's not likely to be due to the magnesium because magnesium deficiency causes dry skin and magnesium supplements reverse the problem.
Compared with you, I live much closer to the equator, but when the weather gets cold and dry in the winter, my skin gets dry and flaky. So maybe what you describe happens to everyone who lives so close to the North Pole.
And I agree with Gabes — if you aren't nuts to begin with, you surely will be after dealing with this disease for a few years. And everyone else will think you're nutty when you describe how you control your symptoms by diet changes.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
