Hi Oma

Post by Wendy »

I see you are on line, just wanted to say hello. How have things been going for you? Has your knee healed up enough and have you got your mobility back? Also wondered how your job search is going? At least you don't have to deal with the damp weather like we have been getting, that would make it allot harder to deal with. Although, I say that our weather has been damp, we have not gotten the snow like other places around here. It was funny the other night when I was at my daughter Mel's house and her friend came over. The weather had completely changed in a very short time and we were getting snow, but just the ground was covered, we thought that was a big deal, but Mel's friend said that she had already cleaned out her mom's drive way twice that day, and they had about a foot of snow. She just lives in another part of Toronto, so its weird how the weather hits one spot and not another. Basically we have had a mild winter, I can usually go out in a sweater, and in the mornings or late at night when I take Pebbles out, I just have my pjs on under my coat. The only time that it really doesn't feel so good is when it rains and the air gets so cold, it sinks right into your bones. So it is good that you didn't have to deal with that the cold weather too.

Hope you are well on your way,

Hugs

Hi Ya Wendy! The knee gets better all the time. I still use the rocking chair as it is not totally freed up yet, but it will be. I don't need pain killers very much any more.
The Job search: Well My old cutomer service job said it would be a month before they would have schedules for training so....I am still job hunting. I'll get a checkfor two weeks this coming Monday. It's not nearly enough, but every little bit helps and I am positive, can't be otherwise if I expect things to get better. We may have some funky credit when we get done with it all and back on our feet....but we will survive.
Other than that things are ok and each day is a forward motion. I pray for other people these days as I know there are others with far worse problems going on.
Weather: Weather here has bee really warm as opposed to what we should be having here. I have the front door open, and Buckmaster is laying on the rug in front of it watching the quail run by. well, never mind, he has crawled up on the couch...must be siesta time. Jasmine has gotton under her blanket. Other than that: I am Just Fine as frogs fur. Love Oma
