Pacific hemp milk
Well I'm sad to say that Pacific hemp milk says they can longer state they are gluten free due to crop rotation. There is a possibility of trace amounts. It was the best hemp milk ever and loaded with vitamins. My neighbor pointed it out to me and sadly after I stocked up on 5 of them.
This goes to show that you always need to review their ingredient list, which I typically do. This was in a paragraph written somewhere else. I can tolerate it still so I'll probably finish my 5. I so wish I had a gluten meter, just to see. I got this one due to the b12, calcium, and mag in it. It's a sad day indeed!

Are you aware of the device described/offered at the following link? It will supposedly be shipping by fall. As a gluten-sensitive engineer, this should capture your interest.Martha wrote:I so wish I had a gluten meter, just to see.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
Awesome Tex! Going to show this to my husband tonight! Ive got to get this. My only concern is the cost of those disposable capsules. I'll be checking everything

That's my main concern too. Because if anyone is going to get any benefit from the device they're going to have to use it. Gluten test kits have been available for a few years at a cost of roughly 11—12 bucks each, but they're not very handy to use. The Nima device should be a lot less trouble to use. I tried these a few years ago, and they work, but it helps if you have previous experience with doing ELISA testing.

Hi, Martha. I use Nutiva hemp protein powder that I mix with almond milk. I purchase it on Vitacost. It was recommended by someone in our group. It is disappointing when something that we can safely use is no longer safe. Thanks for that link, Tex. I'll probably check it out as well.

do you guys have trouble with xanthac gum? most of these milks have it and i have a problem with them...the one im taking now has no xanthac gum and im fine with it unfortunately its loaded with sugar. Is Pacific ''gum-free"? Gluten seems to cause slow and bad damage but these gums give me an issue as well Watch that out !
Thanks Marcia! I will check that out.
Nsaidcolitis, I can handle xanthum gum but not guar gum. If you can handle guar gum, you probably can handle the SO Delicious brands...maybe you might try that.
My husband and I haven't had a chance to look into the gluten meter in depth. We came down with a cold virus/fever that has swept through our area. Oh the histamines in my body, all I can say is serenity now, serenity now!! I'm moving to Antarctica surely there are no allergies/histamines there
