Taking my first trip----

Post by grhandlan@comcast.net »

I have been following all of the suggestions posted here and I have to say you guys are spot on with the info and results. I have been in remission (no WD or urgency) since April 2016, I have been Grain Free, Soy free, Dairy free, Cooked safe veggies since middle of March 2016. I am down to budesonide every third day, which i will remain on until at least the end of the June-or longer if need be. My supplements are Magnesium spray (Mag malate/taurine/potassium blend--glycinate made me achy) 6000 Vit D, B6, Zinc liquid 2x weely or so. B12 couple times a week also. I feel good most days, still have some fatigue at times, but usually when i have "over eaten" safe foods. I get so hungry some times. I know what that "histamine surge" is and take some DAO once in a while. Anyway, I am going to Montana for 2 weeks to attend a class. We are staying in dorm apartment style living -- I am bringing all my safe foods and I know where to by more in the town. I am nervous though. I am taking you all with me-- all of your wisdom and support has been invaluable!!!!!!
Will keep in touch.
Thanks and HUGE HUGS to you

Gena
congratulations! that is a huge milestone in your life with MC journey, embracing travel.

love reading posts like this and that you had such good results resolving WD/urgency in 3 months.

have fun on the trip

- my suggestion is make sure you have some safe staples in the freezer before you go, so they are ready for when you come home..

Gena,

With those preparations, and listening to your body, you should do just fine.

Enjoy the adventure.

Good luck Gena,

I've just started traveling again, myself. I get huge anxiety beforehand, but it helps me tremendously to make a list of everything ahead of time that I need to take. Once I get going, I am fine. Good luck to you!
