Phone consult?

Post by csitt »

Hi, I am new to this community and am really excited to have found others searching for dietary healing for MC. I am a 29yo female who exercises & eats well most of the time, but have been diagnosed with CC (about 3 years ago), Hashimoto's Thyroiditis and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (5-6 years ago). I am frustrated with working so hard to be well with seemingly no change in my gut health. I have been paleo and AIP paleo on and off for 3-4 years. I just ordered Enterolab panels A1+C1 and am excited about getting some answers. Do y'all suggest I order the phone consultation as well? Or will I find the results easy enough to understand? Thanks!

Hi C,

Welcome to our Internet family. You're definitely one of us because AI diseases tend to come in multiples, so many of us have a number of AI issues. Hashimoto's and PCOS are somewhat common among the members here.

Most members don't order a phone consultation for the test results. I can recall only 1 or 2 members who have used a phone consultation to try to track down reasons for unusual symptoms or unusual test results, but because the issues were so rare, the consultations didn't really provide any answers.

The results come with an interpretation by Dr. Fine, and many of us here can answer any questions you might have about the results. Some of us have been using these tests for 8 or 10 years so we're very familiar with them and what they mean. Of course the C1 test panel hasn't been around that long, but we have seen enough of those test results to be very familiar with how to use that information, also.

Again, welcome aboard, and please feel free to ask anything.

welcome to the group

I understand your frustration at all the hard work and still having health issues...

I have multiple health issues as well (including PCOS) and I can tell you that majority of these types of health issues are linked to deficiencies in key nutrients/minerals like Magnesium and Zinc

agree with Tex, the results are pretty easy to understand (there are posts with other peoples results here: http://www.perskyfarms.com/phpBB2/viewforum.php?f=56)

spend some time reading posts and you will see lots of good suggestions how you can tweak your current eating plan to optimise wellness.

hope this helps

Just putting in my 2 cents worth....I struggled for 3 1/2 years before I starting seeing my gut act normal!
My Enterolab tests showed I was highly inflamed......my diet had to completely change, I had to basically start from scratch with everything I consumed. Slowly I was able to eat more foods and take supplements.

Everyone is so different in healing.... Enterolab is a good place to start....it gives you some solid data to use right away.

Best of luck!
