A SAYING---To KEEP in MIND--& a little story

Post by barbaranoela »

Evening all----

Happy U R home Maggs----as Im sure Frank is too--
Yup getting *older* @ times can make U feel *REAL OLD* and along with it comes the *aged* issues~~~~ BUT they also hit the YOUNG!!

I couldnt imagine getting to my age but when I did---*well watta ya know* it didnt feel so terribly bad* matter of fact I *smiled*
And yup---sometimes it does SUCK when things run amuck~~~

And as Tex said---I think of all the friends that didnt get *older* too--

This is the saying Lou saw in an article--

*DONT COMPLAIN ABOUT GETTING OLD---MANY PEOPLE DONT GET THAT CHANCE*

I know its just a saying but how TRUE it is~~~~~

So Maggie--keep that spirit of yours UPandUP---usual phrase *easy to say* but U R in good hands and being taken care of~~~and U are taking care of U----that deserves a :star:

luve U all---young/old/older :pulsinghearts: :bigbighug:
Barbara---

Matter of fact a friend of mine quoted to me----*we arent getting old--we mellowing like a fine glass of wine* :butterfly:
the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness and self-control

You can be lucky

A distraught senior citizen phoned her doctor's office. "Is it true," she wanted to know, "that the medication you prescribed has to be taken for the rest of my life?" "Yes, I'm afraid so," the doctor told her. There was a moment of silence before the senior lady replied, "I'm wondering, then, just how serious is my condition because this prescription is marked 'NO REFILLS'."

Love

"Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn't die; so, let us all be thankful." -- Buddha

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
