I'm sorry that you are having to deal with all those issues at once.

That depends on how well you are able to "let go" of stress. Stress can be sort of self-perpetuating if we are unable to deal with it.

Hopefully you'll be back on track in a few days.

Laura
sympathies for the events of the past few weeks.

One thing that can help to reduce stress are guided meditation / breathing techniques / relaxation activities

I put some details of them in the guidelines section.
http://www.perskyfarms.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=22350

spending 20 minutes a day in relaxed state can help alot..
this could be playing relaxing music while you do some colouring in or going for a 20 minute walk in nature.
or do some yoga at home.
there are loads of free podcasts on these types of things (so it doesnt have to cost very much at all)

hope this helps

Thank you Tex and Gabes. The link is a great guide.

I'll be okay soon. Been through worse in the past, so I have learned that this too shall pass. It just Sucks that the body has to react like this!

we cant avoid stress, stressful events will happen, with MC in our lives we have to be able to manage our reactions to stress.

I have audio books, podcasts that I carry with me.. that within 5 minutes can help me calm down.

I just watched this program - which provides some science about the benefits of mindfullness

My other advice is, there is no right way or wrong way to grieve, or embrace our emotions...
there is your way. embrace the emotions at a pace you can handle. Dont feel pressure to 'get it together' or 'get over it' within a fixed timeline.
