Olympics

Post by Mars »

I'm watching the opening ceremonies of the Olympics. AWESOME! I really liked the acrobats on the vertical structure! WOW!!!! The Dove was absolutely AWESOME!!!

Peter Gabriel just sang John Lennon's "Imagine". I can't imagine what these atheletes are thinking during this ceremony. What an incredible experience it must be!

Love,
Mars

Whoops! Sorry about that! I've been reading about it on line before I watched it too! Time differences in all parts of the world make secrets hard to keep!

FYI: The Ceremony takes 3 hours!

Now wouldn't that be fun!

Unfortunately, they said tickets to the Opening Ceremonies cost $1,000 U.S. and figure skating tickets would cost you $450 for a ticket! WOW! :yikes: Expensive outing don't cha think?

It would be fun to pile in at your house though! We'll just watch on TV!

What network has the coverage this year?
You can see how well I've been keeping up with things, can't you?

Jill,

My couch turns in to a bed and it's yours 'cause you got first dibs!

Sadly I don't think I could afford to go, but I think I remember my sister saying something about getting some free tickets through her work - I'll have to remind her what a great sister I am

I like all of the winter events, but my favorite to watch is the figure skating. I would love to be that graceful. Maybe in my next life.

Love,

Polly
