Vitamin Deficiency - Migraines

Post by Gabes-Apg »

Not surprising to us in MC world.... albeit good news that nutrient deficiencies linkage to health issues is getting researched and published in mainstream.

Migraines have been linked to vitamin deficiencies by researchers at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. The study found that many young people including children, teens, and young adults who suffer from migraines, are also mildly deficient with vitamin D, vitamin B2 riboflavin, and coenzyme Q10.

Interesting Gabes.....they add the coenzyme Q10 into the mix....I have some of that in my cupboard, was a freebie from my last Vitacost order. Hadn't used it as I was wondering what purpose it may serve me during this time, I may try to add it to my regimen see if I notice any difference.

Very good to see there are some publications out there emerging in this area.

before trying it, double check the ingredients of the CoQ10 - majority of products have soy

I get pure CoQ10 powder from Bulk Supplements. In fact I have started to get a lot of my supplements from them in the form of pure powders. They are free of allergens and much less expensive. The CoQ10 I mix with coconut oil in the right proportions for the dose I want and then eat a spoonful a day as is recommended on their site.

HI Jean,
I'll have to look into Bulk supplements (for other items that are on my list as well)...Thanks!
