Yes it has helped. I've not had another one since I started it. I do not take it every day but when I feel it starting, I take that instead of going to the doctor as I do not want antibiotics at all. So far huge improvement and I have passed this on to non-MC friends too.

that is great news! I've taken 2 tsp. So far today, and am hopeful....I have a Dr app tomorrow just in case. I'm hurting pretty bad. I so hate antibiotics. I always wind up with something else after I take them, hence the MC.

Take it regularly and see if it doesn't help. I have not had a problem in many weeks and that is a first for me in the past year.

Hi all,

I have had numerous UTIs, both before I was diagnosed, and especially when my CC was at it's most active. The bacteria became resistent to antibiotics used to treat UTIs, but often my urine would not show any bacteria at all... I usually had 3-4 visits to the bathroom during nights. D-Mannose helped a lot, as well as magnesium, which has always been my companion, but it never resolved the problem with nocturne urinating and having a feeling of "pressure" when nothing came out... Due to other issues, (my last 24-hour urine test showed I was way below the minimum level of iodine) I decided to start an iodine protocol. After having started the iodine protocol, I only go to the bathroom one time during the night and I feel so much better in general.

92% of the population in the world are iodine deficient, and iodine helps to solve so many health problems. So, I figured - since my last urine test showed a deficiency in iodine - I would start supplementing with iodine. At least, I thought I might prevent developing a thyroid problem in the future, since we know that people with MC can develop a thyroid problem. I hope it was a wise choice
