My results are in...what does this mean?

A-1) Gluten/Antigenic Food Sensitivity Stool Panel

Fecal Anti-gliadin IgA 120 Units (Normal Range is less than 10 Units)

Fecal Anti-casein (cow’s milk) IgA 57 Units (Normal Range is less than 10 Units)

Fecal Anti-ovalbumin (chicken egg) IgA 13 Units (Normal Range is less than 10 Units)

Fecal Anti-soy IgA 16 Units (Normal Range is less than 10 Units)

These are my results, does this mean that I should eliminate all of the above from diet?
Ugh. Depressing. I figured gluten but all of them?!

Yep! Welcome to the club! My results were higher than yours and I was surprised too. But it's really not that hard to do if you listen and learn from all these wonderful people here. You can do it. If you haven't already, start reading all the posts you can absorb and it will all fall into place.

Yes - these results means you should definately remove gluten, dairy, chicken eggs, and soy from your diet (and also external sources such as bathroom products etc)

your gluten result and dairy result are quite high as well - I would be super careful regarding any contamination with these items

It may seem overwhelming at first, but once you remove them, figure out your safe eating plan, life will be way way better!
and knowledge is power in the MC healing journey..

This type of result is very common for many here (I would say over 50%)

If you want any additional information on how to remove these from your environment let me know.

Hi Laurie,

Yes, your immune system is obviously producing antibodies to all 4 of those foods (like many of us here), so you definitely need to totally avoid them (even in trace amounts). There is 1 substitution that can be made. Virtually everyone who is sensitive to chicken eggs is able to safely eat eggs from ducks, turkeys, quail, etc. Duck eggs are available at many Farmer's Markets and in some supermarkets.

But the only safe substitute for cow's milk is milk from cameloids (camels, guanacos, llamas, alpacas, and vicuñas) or equines (horses, zebras, asses, etc). Goat and sheep milk will not work because their milk contains enough of the same type of casein to cause us to react. That leaves nut milks as the only practical alternatives to cow's milk. Most of us are able to safely use Almond Milk, Cashew milk, and Coconut milk. And many of us can tolerate Rice Milk and Hemp Milk.

The safest meats are turkey, lamb, and any of the wild-type meats, such as venison, goose, duck, quail, pheasant, rabbit, etc. During your recovery period, the simpler your diet, the faster you will recover.
