Microbiome video tonsils natures natural immune system

Post by Erica P-G »

This is a short video by Bruce Lipton... it had info in it that never occurred to me, and here both my kids had their tonsils out in their late teen and early twenties....so now I wonder if their bodies were trying to tell us something about the diet they had and the low amount of magnesium and VitD in their body. My mom also had her tonsils out when she was young, and as I have been going thru life I could have had mine out at any given time but I still have mine. This makes me wonder if our bodies are and have been trying to communicate with us about our diet and environment all this time and with this information in the video it is making more sense than ever.

Erica, I haven't had a chance to listen to this yet but I had my tonsils out when I was 16 due to regular bouts of strep throat. Shortly thereafter I developed hayfever/allergies and have always suspected it was because of the loss of my tonsils.

I also haven't had a chance to listen to it yet, but I remember my allergy doctor in Oklahoma City years ago (I went before I was one and peanuts would have killed me) telling my mom and dad to never let them take my tonsils that they were the only filter I had for my immune system. I finally had them taken out when I was around the age of 39/40 because they were just totally rotten and giving me fits..........

Deb, I had regular bouts of Strep also, and Bronchitis, can't believe I have been able to persevere without succumbing to them coming out too. In my later adult years (30-40) I have not had as much issue with them, probably the reason I have not given thought to removing them.

Jari, that's incredible your tonsils went to crap! I have not heard of them degrading to that point, just inflaming a lot to the point that some people have trouble breathing. Also for you to be so ahead of the curve and want to keep them....I was and maybe I still am a bit naïve to a certain extent but I wouldn't have thought to tell anyone I wanted to keep my tonsils for any Needed reason, especially linking it to my immune system.

I had my tonsils out when I was 5 or 6. I never got sore throats, etc. so I thought it was a good thing. My son had his removed when he was four because they were huge. He was rarely sick growing up, though and even in college he's been fairly healthy. Something else to think about now....
