Budesonide

Post by Kpietryka »

Hi all, I've been on budesonide for 2 weeks now without any relief...I was just wondering if this is the case for most people...I'm also wondering if anyone had to get I.V. therapy supplementation with this..
I'm so discouraged and have lost almost 30 pounds since March...I'm so frustrated. Any help would be appreciated.

Kathy, it took six weeks before I saw much improvement with Budesonide. I also had taken off quite a bit of weight but since being on Budesonide I have put on about 5 kilo. So hang in there and hopefully things will get better.

I hope you've found some relief. I went back on it towards the end of May. It took almost a month before the diarrhea and other symptoms subsided. However, I had to start zantac because budesonide gave me TERRIBLE heartburn.
