I am new to this site. Trying to navigate my way. Got my results from enterolab need to go GF SF DF and Egg Free. I am not sure if I just follow that diet or if I need to start with stage one and work my way up? Or will my gut heal with the GF SF DF EF diet? My symptoms are somewhat manageable from what I have read. I do have D several times a day but typically no pain. I have just been dealing with it the last couple of years. But ready to fix that. Not sure where to start. Have eliminated above mentioned intolerances already.
Also is stevia ok to use for coffee?
Thanks
New. Stage 1 necessary?

Doing the very bland stage 1 type eating plan is the best way to reduce inflammation and optimise good gut healing.
your symptoms may be somewheat manageable, but you may not be doing good healing.
the healthier your gut, the more your body will absorb more nutrients etc.
following the stage 1 eating plan, is also a good way to see if there are other foods that may be an issue, to ensure that your main eating plan is based on your safest foods.
Stevia is good option for coffee

Laurie,
The main reason why following that eating plan (stage 1) is a good idea is because we have other problems besides antibodies to certain foods. Fiber is very abrasive while our gut is still inflamed, so we have to minimize it. Our ability to produce certain enzymes is limited, so we have to minimize sugar. IOW the outlined eating plan also helps to avoid various other dietary issues above and beyond food sensitivities.
But of course do be careful to avoid the foods that were shown to be a problem for you by the EnteroLab results.
Good luck with your recovery program.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
