Suntan Lotion Recommendations?

Post by jlbattin »

Hi all.........

I've searched the archives and didn't come up with anything, so I'm putting out there..........anyone have a suntan lotion they can recommend that is gluten free, soy free, dairy free?

Most all that I have looked at have soy in them.

Thanks.
Jari

the only thing I could find that was gabe safe and affordable, was pure lanolin

the next best option is looking at the products for babies or toddlers, they tend to have less alcohols/chemicals in them

Ocean potion is oxybenzone free and paraben free, not sure about soy. I just read California Baby SPF 30+ is suppose to be soy free. You could look into just using zinc oxide....

You might check out Badger Balm -- they're pretty clean in terms of ingredients, and they use zinc oxide (which is preferable to what the mainstream sunscreens use).

Jari,
Let me know if this has anything you can see that may be a problem for us with MC....This is what I have been using, but not alot lately. It is hard to pick out the soy part at times.

Erica,

I didn't see anything that jumped out at me. I may have to check that out. In the meantime, I'm going to look for the California Baby one......they sell it at Target and I've had pretty good luck with the sensitive skin lotion.
Thanks everyone. I have some options now.
