Hi - went to the eye doctor & he said my eyes are inflamed & swollen (I thought it was from starting zinc supplements but more likely dust blown in my eyes from trade winds & gusts).
I am nervous about having MC and taking eye drops with antibiotics, neomycin & polymyxin, along with dexamethasone, a corticosteroid.
Anyone have any advice / experience? Thanks in advance!

Eyes drops - antibiotic & corticosteroid
LC, strong reaction to cola, squash and D & C Orange #4; moderate reaction to sugar cane, sulfite, sardine, flaxseed, coriander, black-eyed peas and FD & C Blue #1. Enterolab Anti-gliadin IgA 6 units.
Unless you happen to be allergic to an inactive ingredient in the medication, you should be OK. It's oral antibiotics that cause the problems.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
