thank you Gabes, I haven't found a b6 or b12 that I can take. I would love to take it. Any recommendations? The active b12 gave me "the worst migraine ever".

I took a probiotic last time that I tolerated well. I opened the capsule and added it to water throughout the day. It helped that I spread it out throughout the day. I wasn't sure if I needed one with more cultures or not. This one has 4 different strains.

I have remag, that I put on hold. The first day, I took it with my mag oil and a 100 mg pill (chelated, non buffered) and my legs went weak. I thought maybe too much then. I guess I need to try it again without the pill.

My mom has been using remag and believes it's a "miracle" drink. She is 68 and feels 50 again😄....

I couldnt tolerate active B12 at first until i fixed other issues (like B6, magnesium etc)
maybe start with active B6 (i use the Thorne P5P from iHerb)
this will also help histamine levels etc

I would do small small dose of remag, no other oral intake, and still use mag oil. take small small dose for 3-4 days and then increase by small amount again..

I have started using something similar to remag, each morning I make up a drink and add the liquid mag, liquid zinc and the liquid iodine. I sip it through the day to 'spread the dose' - and still use the topical oil as well - this has been working great for me

Thank you so Gabes, will order b6 tonight! So glad for you Gabes!

I put 1/8 tsp of remag in 1 quart of water....could increase the water. 1 quart is a lot of water in one day, I think I only got in a half.

Yes a quart sound like a lot, my pondering is, with your UTI issues, and it being summer over there, it would be good if you could increase your intake.
if you drink more in the am, then your sleep wont be interrupted as much with toilet stops through the night

I drink 2 quarts a day, more in summer)
even with taking supplements, by lunchtime my wee is a nice pale colour (not quite clear) the hydrated status at this link
http://www.health.nsw.gov.au/environmen ... chart.aspx

as my gut is a bit happier I can put slice of lemon in the water, or I use very small amount of natural juice flavouring, to mask the taste of the zinc and the mag.
each day i have two two water bottles, plain water, and my flavoured vitamin water.

I will try Gabes, it wouldn't hurt drinking that for sure.

How much oil do you use daily?

How much mag oil spray would you use when starting on Remag?
I ordered Remag today and have some of the pills, life flo spray and lotion?
I know everyone is different but need a ball park figure so I don't over do it.
I also know there is a post I believe from Vanessa, or Erika awhile back but can't find it. Thanks for your help as always. I may not write a lot but I am here.

Hey Martha,

I got jelly legs when first starting ReMag also. I also felt "revved up". I just lowered dose and added like Gabes says. I think it was my body finally getting what it needed and all of my enzyme processes shouting out for more! Don't give up on it, moms are always right! also when you take minerals that are actually getting into cells and are high potency, keeping hydrated becomes uber important. The packet that comes with ReMag suggests adding Himalayan salt or sea salt to your liters of water. This also changed my world. Dehydration symptoms can also act like mag def.

Hey Janie,
I kept my same oral mag while starting on 1/8 teaspoon of ReMag. Also slathered body in mag lotion every morning. Once I slowly worked up to 1/2 teaspoon I took away one pill of 100 mg mag Glycinate and so forth. Just go slow and listen to your body. Now my average dose is 2 teaspoons sipped throughout day with one Epsom salts bath a week. Occasional topical application. The topical application of mag stimulates DHEA hormone which is good.....

I meant to mention, since I started the liquid magnesium (similar to ReMag) (and I have been taking Diatomaceous earth) my poop has been near perfect every day for the first time in over 20 years, the past fortnight is the first time my poop has been 'consistent' every day

It has taken me 3 years of various supplement protocols to correct my nutritional deficiencies /imbalances and get to this level of healing.
all along I have had to listen to my body, be patient and 'hang in there'.

Say Gabes, I have about 10-15 pounds of Food grade DE would that act kinda/similar to cholestramine?

I think it is.. and more so I think it is better as it is natural.
I did have to increase water intake and coconut oil intake to avoid constipation issues
(but I was more prone to C in the past few years)

I have it about 45 mins before food and supps. so i think it is easier to incorporate into the routine compared to cholestryamine.
I started it as parasite issues came up via kinesiology assessment.

the other aspect for me with pyrolle issues and methylation issues where i struggle to clear biotoxins/excess metals, it is regularly recommended to help clear these toxins. Less toxins = less inflammation

Interesting, I think I will have to compare the two because here i have been using the DE to help my pets in their food, and to keep ants away from garden foods, etc....but didn't give it much thought until you mentioned it regarding myself. Only thing is it may or may not bind with bile...and that would be the reason behind the cholestryamine.

Do you take it any time during the day but just 45 min before a meal?

what i found works for my routine and the gut is having small amt 45 minutes before breakfast and again before my evening meal

this coupled with the other things I am doing, means that poop happens in the morning and late afternoon - both times when I am at home (and not at work etc)

We need a certain amount of bile in the digestion process to absorb key nutrients like B12, K etc so that is why I think DE is better than Cholestryamine in relation to parasites/toxins/biotoxins/clearing excess metals.

Dr Lawrence Wilson - who has written endless articles about nutritional health and Weston A Price foundation both recommend it and have good articles about the uses of DE

http://www.westonaprice.org/health-topi ... -a-hatter/
Until we can clean up the planet and our act, we fortunately do have a “dirt cheap,” stop-gap way of coping with metal toxicity. That solution is diatomaceous earth. Dr. Knight has extensively tested a product produced by Perma-Guard that is also available through WisdomWays in Edgewood, Colorado.58 Diatomaceous earth comes from fossilized shells of freshwater diatoms and is found in vast deposits all over the earth. Made up of silicone and trace minerals, diatomaceous earth can, according to the scientific literature, absorb methyl mercury, E. coli, endotoxins, viruses (including poliovirus), organophosphate pesticide residues, drug residue, and protein, perhaps even the proteinaceous toxins produced by some intestinal infections.59,60

The only caveat is that diatomaceous earth used for human or animal detoxification must be food grade. People and other mammals should never use the coarse, crystalline form of diatomaceous earth sold for use in swimming pool filters or as insecticides, or sources of diatomaceous earth contaminated with toxins like arsenic and the metal toxins. If inhaled, the crystalline form can cause a disabling lung disease called silicosis and upon ingestion might puncture the lining of the alimentary tract. Foodgrade diatomaceous earth binds metals and other toxins, gently siphoning or leaching them out of storage areas and passing them innocuously out of the body.61

Microscopic live cell analyses of blood taken from individuals who have detoxed using food-grade diatomaceous earth for many months display little evidence that the particles make their way intact into the blood. Hair analyses of these individuals display normal or even slightly low amounts of silica. This evidence, combined with a very low trace and toxic mineral content (usually in parts per million), supports the concept that diatomaceous earth works by removing toxins that poison the immune and regulatory functions, rather than by adding trace minerals that support these processes.62

Erica
I think i should also mention my current supp protocol (aimed at clearing excess unbound copper and other toxins)
working with the DE
- high dose P5P (mostly due to pyrolle as I struggle with B6 deficiency)
- biotin
- molybdenum
- coconut oil capsules
- NAC

I am doing lingual Vit D +K spray, lingual active B12 and Co Q10,
liquid magnesium, zinc, iodine

Martha,

What about injections of vitamin B12? My PCP thought that some of my weird neurologic symptoms might be due to vitamin B12 deficiency. I told her I was taking B12. She wanted to know how. When I told her that I was swallowing capsules she said she was doubting I was absorbing them very well due to the MC. She prescribed injections and one of her nurses showed me how to do them. Initially, I had to do 5 days in a row, and now it's once a month.

However, while writing this just now I double checked the vial I received and it is cyanocobalamin and not methylcobalamin. I can hardly believe it!! I will ask for a vial of methycobalamin next time I see my PCP. I am not sure why the pharmacy fills cyanocobalamin when the PCP writes B12. They must have both!

Love, Patricia

Patricia
I have got individual dose methyl B12 injections from compounding pharmacy. it was expensive, but they worked great!
If I could afford them I would keep using them.
