My Chiro/kinesiologist practitioner bulk buys good quality food quality DE and packs it down for clients
it cost me $20 for a bag that will last me about 6 months at my current dosage of small teaspoon am and pm.
it was the natural (no flavourings etc) low cost, and minimal impact to the other supps i take that got me really interested.
Quite a few people on biotoxin forums are using it as well.
the combo of fixing methylation cycle, healthier cells, the DE along with the better grade ionised magnesium drops, it has made all the effort thus far worth it.
even with a super stressful day yesterday, i had looseish motions, not MC mud or D like previously.
like anything in MC world, i cant guarantee it will work for everybody.. in the scheme of outlay to try, it is not an expensive option

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Well that's my problem, you see there are so many that I can't remember where I saw the one I use the most last in all the dancing emoticons But if that is our only option...I'm ok with thatJust click on the "View more Emoticons" link right below the emoticons pictured to the left of the message composing window, and then enlarge the window to make it easier to select the ones you want because there are many, many emoticons available there. the mag drops are a practitioner only ionised easily absorbable magnesium that my chiro/kinesiologist bulk buys and then packs down into 50ml dropper bottles
there is no product label.
it is something along the lines of this product
http://www.traceminerals.com/products/l ... -magnesium
for me being based in Australia - it is cheaper than purchasing the ReMag product and paying postage etc
I also like that the bottle size is about a months worth, so this suits my budget and supplement expenditure

Gabes:
Your 50ml bottle is a month's supply-the one you linked to is 60ml, and a 15 day supply. Are you getting 400mg in a dose? Do you take it mixed in water? And no GI effect? Right now I take mag glycinate, in divided doses between meals, and would love to replace that with something once a day, as I often forget to take it, as it's not with a meal or when I take anything else. I also have to work it around the Cholestyramine, as that interferes with it, and there's a long window after that I can't take it. I also like that it has Boron, as I've been taking that, so could replace with this.

if you re-read my response I said
(I posted the link so you could get an idea of the type of product I am using. )
Yes I am putting the drops into a liquid, along with my liquid zinc drops, and liquid iodine drops, and i sip it through the day
it has a very metallic taste if you put the drops directly onto your tongue
I am also still doing topical oil spray applications through the day in addition to the drops. I am under a bit of stress at the moment so am needing extra magnesium
ie it is not the SAME product, but something similar,it is something along the lines of this product

Hi....Polly if you catch this post...this is how I am feeling right now should I be taking the cholestryamine once or twice a day....and when?
Currently I'm grabbing a small bite of food and taking my few supps in the morning waiting an hour while getting ready for work then taking my pkt of cholestryamine before heading off for work.
Should I be incorporating this before bed or an hour or two hours before bed.....
I'm not really sure what I should be feeling right now and I know it has only been 10 days....I do notice if I don't drink a bit more liquid/water during the day I tend to get a touch of a head ache which I'm sure is a side effect, but I'm not seeing fluffy poops anymore in fact they are gritty sand 6's all the way. Is this toxin leaving, or a reaction to the med? My mouth usually rejects things right from the start if I don't feel i can tolerate something and I haven't noticed this reaction yet...but the gut is saying something else and I'm not sure why. I am noticing less yellow in the BM's though. I also remember you saying it could take up to 30 days for the body to adjust to this regimen, what I'm curious about is what types of symptoms can I watch for?
Thanks!
Erica

Am very interested to see how you do with the cholestyramine, Erica. I have the medication, but haven't started it yet, partly because of exactly the same questions that you raise, and partly because I felt I should have some time to get used to the ReMag first. Really hoping that it will turn out to be a huge benefit to you. Thank you for sharing your experiences. Hopefully, Polly or someone else who uses this med successfully will be able to guide you.

Hi Erica,
The way you are taking the AM dose sounds fine. If you want to try a second dose, it can be anytime from dinner to bed time. I think you might want to try a second dose, since you obviously haven't had any hint of constipation and you still have some yellow in the BMs. For me, it does take time (some weeks) for the BM to firm up after I have reached my optimum dose. The only potentially serious symptom to watch for is constipation, as far as I am aware. I have found that if it happens, it resolves very quickly by reducing the dose. Some people note increased bloating and/or stomach discomfort, but I have not. Not sure the reason for the gritty sand poops - could be a temporary state of the BM while things are adjusting.
Good luck! I will stay tuned........
