Thanks. This is what I use:
https://www.amazon.com/Doctors-Best-Vit ... B0050MYHBQ
The only other ingredients are extra virgin olive oil and the capsule (which is made of gelatin, glycerine, and water).
I take 1 every day except during the summer if I am getting a lot of sun I cut the dose down to 1 every other day.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
Hoping you get your Vit D situation sorted out quickly, Armstrong! And that your new doctor continues to work through these things with you.
This is off-topic slightly, however, it might affect others also. I read (here, likely?) that too MUCH Vitamin D can cause people to not be able to absorb magnesium well. Since I've been supplementing with Vit D3 for 9 months, both lab results in this time-frame showed my D level to be greater than the highest reference range. So I'm cutting back a bit on my daily Vit D3 (down to 4,000 units/day instead of the 5-6,000 units/day I was taking).
Finding that right balance is key for all of us. Does anyone else have any experience or thoughts on this? Thanks!

I use Script Essentials D3 soft gels. 5000 IU. I take 2x per day.
No wheat, gluten, yeast, soy, dairy products, fish, shell fish, peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, ingredients derived from genetically modified organisms, artificial colors, artificial sweeteners, or artificial preservatives.
I've been taking these for about 6 weeks now and I haven't had any problems. Additionally, I get a little discount because I signed up for the automatic renewal which can be altered at anytime.
I tried their magnesium but it was too strong and sent me in to the most disgusting flare of my life. I switched to ReMag and slowly working my way up to the preferred level.
