Its been over 1 1/2 years since I have eaten any bread and have been craving bread so bad.
I took my DW grocery shopping yesterday and went to A store we haven't been to for quite A while
while going through the bread isle with my blinders on my DW said look and low and behold it was marked new item
GF bread (I,m thinking just another cardboard brick) she said feel it its soft and holy crap it was so I bought it at
$7.00 last night I tried it with just my safe butter today I made A chicken sandwich
But it does contain eggs http://lewisbakeries.net/our-brands/bet ... -products/
It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
Actually I am just getting over A bad bad flare from this hot Ohio weather it really put me through misery but better today.
Its 2 1/2 hrs after I ate the GF bread and my gut feels fine.
So happy for you. We all love bread. I'm looking for a location near me that carries the bread. I can't have potato starch so I'll have to check that. It's always exciting to fine something we can tolerate.
Aldi's GF bread is great!!! Very soft, tastes like regular bread. Makes great sandwiches and toast. Not coarse and tasteless like lots of GF bread. And it is $3.99 per loaf which is so much cheaper than any other GF bread.
Check the specialty breads at Aldi's - it is in a special cardboard tray - I buy an entire tray of it at a time. If you don't see it, ask for it and they sometimes have more in the freezer in the back of the store. It sells quickly where I live (probably because people like me buy an entire tray of 8 loaves at a time). White and "whole wheat" are awesome. Best gluten free bread I've ever tasted anywhere.
I've never seen this bread. Does it contain eggs??

All of Aldi's GF items I have tried are awesome and cheap and I can't complain about any of them. I've been using them for at least 4 years and love them. Price of GF items is ridiculous is most stores but I can buy GF at Aldi and really save. And their quality is tremendous. Watch not only the regular aisles for the GF products but also on the special aisles where they have special close out or special offer products - when GF items appear there, I stock up. The GF vanilla sandwich cookies are great. I love their cakes and brownies. I'm also a lover of the Almond Milk sold at Aldi and I prefer the original, not the sweetened. I switched to this long before I knew to go DF.
