I'm trying!

Post by JJ »

I must be healing.....I became brave and contacted our Director of Development about a job opening in the Development office. It is a part time job for Alumnae Coordinator! I wrote to him and told him about my possible situation next year, and that I have worked here for 20 years and am an alum too! He wants to meet with me... :banana2:

I am trying to make an appt to see him on Thursday! I would be an event planner and would get to schmooze with the old alums...I do already! People know me and I know all about the school history and big events...I love detail stuff too....problem is...the job will be available in March....sigh...maybe they can work with my schedule????? Keep your fingers crossed! I hope my Division Director won't be ticked, but I need to watch out for myself! Things are still so up in the air.

Thanks for being here you guys! JJ

Great news Jill. As they say, nothing ventured, nothing gained. It always pays to try every avenue available to you. Good luck with it.

Love
