Lower Back Pain

Post by jessica329 »

Hi everyone,

I've been noticing a new symptom with my on again, off again flares- lower back pain. Any advice on how to relieve the pain without taking pain reliever meds? Thanks!

I use a heating pad daily on my lower back. Be careful, I have burn marks  I had a car wreck years ago and have used it ever since. Also I put remag oil on it every night before I go to bed.

I use an ointment for pain relief. It is prescription, volterin (generic). You can also use heat and cold applied alternately.

Hey Jessica,

I've had luck with those expensive heat pads that stick to the back for 8 hours. The low heat all day long really loosens up the back....and of course like Martha suggests putting mag oil there as well. Treat yourself to a wonderful epsom salts bath ( 2 cups ), 1 box of baking soda, and the squeeze of a whole lemon. When I feel super yucky, this really helps.
