Hi my dear friend, Tex

I´ve tried to contact you by e-mail, but got the message back (rejected. wrong e-mail address).

I tried a private message through the forum, but I am not sure if I´ve done it right.

Please, can you send me an e-mail, to get your new e-mail address and re-send you my e-mail?
I have good news for you.

Thank you, mi querido amigo :thanks:

Hola mi querida amiga,

I'm very sorry about the email problem. In the last week of July, my Internet service provider suddenly decided to go out of business. I'm not sure if the owner died or if there was some other reason, but I had only about 5 days to find a new hosting service for this discussion board, and to get all the files and data transferred to the new server. The email address I used the most was associated with the domain of the ISP that went out of business, unfortunately, so that email address ceased to exist on July 31. I have several other email addresses and I'll send them to you in an email.

Here's where I posted about the issue, and in this post you can see my other email addresses if you click on the "spoiler alert":

Important Message About This Website!

I read your private message after I began reading your post. I am overwhelmed. I was so afraid that continuing health problems would prevent you from finishing. I had almost given up hope. So seeing your message was quite a surprise. And I hope this means that your health is better.

Your work will help many people in the world, and they and I will be forever grateful for your skills, your hard work, and your kindness.

Love,
Tex

P. S. I'll send you an email after I take care of some other urgent issues this morning.

Hello, mi querido amigo.

Your email problem is not your fault. Please, do not apologize for it. I can understand all the problems it caused.
I hope you have been able to solve them.

As I mentioned to you, I wish I had finished the book earlier.
Unfortunately, my health issues are not better than the last time I explained it to you. Though, I´ve done my best to translate a little bit every day that I was feeling slightly better. It has been the only way to finish it.

I am suffering an adrenal crisis very often + problems related with mastocytosis and angioedema (swelling of face, eyes and upper-respiratory tract)...
It is very disabling as it causes total exhaustion and a completely lack of energy when the worst part of the crisis is over.

You mentioned:
Your work will help many people in the world, and they and I will be forever grateful for your skills, your hard work, and your kindness.
Please, allow me to stress that I am just the translator. The hard work and skills are all yours. The content of your book, as I told you when I read it for the first time, surprised me. Because it is really good! The completion of a lot of investigation and inforamtion... I am sure that you have helped many people with it & with the forum. The Spanish version of it will help many others.

Thank you for counting on me and for your patience.
Thank you for being always there, ready to help and to give your opinion and comments when I am feeling sick.
Love,
Tessa

Thank you Tessa,

I appreciate your kind words. But I understand how much work is involved in translating a book, especially a book about a medical issue. Translating a book about a medical subject requires special skills and knowledge that many translators would not have. So I have been blessed that you have been so kind to be willing to do the translation, despite so many health issues.

Take care of yourself Tessa.

Love,
Tex
