My body is just not cooperating art the moment.... Just a bit frustrated....
the reality for most of us is there will always be ups and down wellness wise, we have to listen to our bodies, rather than 'stopping' just reduce the magnesium a bit so that it is giving you a maintenance dose, and increase again when you are up to it.

just like we have increase things like Vit D3 and zinc when we are poorly.
This is the other part of the journey.. this is life with 'MC' or other health issues, learning to listen to our body, when we need to support it more or when it is going ok and can handle doing a bit of detoxing etc.

Thank you Gabes,
Some days I truly embrace the whole process, other days not so much... my problems are minuscule compared to others on this journey. I'm going to take your advice and cut back on the magnesium for now , Until I feel better. I will continue my 5000 vitamin D and I just started the zinc. Not to harp on the shingles but that really threw my body for a loop. Fingers crossed I'm on my way to the brighter side of that mountain!
Thanks again!

thats normal LouAnn - our slightly high maintenance lifestyle (eating plan, supplements etc) and period of overthinking as we embrace the wellness journey.

Things will change, we will have diamond days, average days and some shi**y days... that is life.
Stressful events will happen, whether it be family, work, adverse weather event, car breaking down, illness etc, seasons will change,
Pre MC and other health issues, we dont notice the ebb and flows as much, but now we are more sensitive.

I heard a podcast the other day, and it reminded us to focus on healing, not the symptoms.

As I mentioned before, I'm not particularly sensitive to supplements. However when I started the ReMag (1/4 tsp. twice a day) I had definite flu-like symptoms. I reduced to 1/4 tsp for a couple of days and have now worked up to about a tsp a day. All of a sudden I couldn't fall asleep at night. I then drank all my ReMag by noon and that got better. Then I noticed hyper thyroid symptoms so have reduced my thyroid meds by 1/2 tablet. I'm thinking of adding the ReMyte mineral mix. Has anyone had any experience with that? Deb

Hey Lou Ann,

What Gabes says hit the nail on the head. I think once your body calms down from the shingles episode you'll be back on track. Dr. Dean has a beautiful mantra she calls "A Small Property" I should memorize it. It's about thanking your body for everything it is doing to keep you alive. It really resonated with me.

Hey Deb,

That is really awesome news that you were able to go down on your med! I think Tex also went down on his thyroid med once his magnesium stores came up, but hopefully he'll chime in. I also take 1 teaspoon of ReMyte daily but do not have thyroid problems (I had the whole gamut of testing done recently). I think if you feel ready, then this would be a great next step for you since the 12 minerals in the ReMyte support the thyroid. You might have already read the free PDF Invisible Minerals Part 2 on Dr. Deans website. She had to go off of her thyroid med once she started ReMyte as she felt an elevated pulse. I love that it has zinc and molybdenum in it. Like everything else take it super super slow and even slower in your case since you are on meds for thyroid. You sound pretty in tune with your body, so I don't see why the extra support wouldn't benefit. The ReAline is also something I take which has helped me feel better....

Thanks Vanessa. I'm hoping the ReMyte may help with my adrenal issues too. I'll look at the ReAline as well. Deb

Yes, I now take half the thyroid treatment (Armour) that I took for 10 years. I probably no longer need even that small amount but my doctor says that after taking it for 10 years I should at least take a minimal dose because my body has adapted to rely on it by now.

IMO many hypothyroidism cases are probably a symptom of chronic magnesium deficiency.

Hello! Just chiming in that I have now started on the ReAline, and then am just starting to add small amounts of the ReMyte to my ReMag. (I've been on ReMag awhile now, and have been at 2 tsp/day or just slightly over that for several weeks - have decided to hold off on the other forms of magnesium for now.) Vanessa has been super supportive about this, as has Dr. Dean's staff. I also have thyroid issues and take a bovine glandular, so it will be interesting to see how that goes. My adrenals are also extremely fatigued which is scary; very low cortisol in am. Hoping these products will help with this too.

I do feel things have "sped up" a bit for me; however, I'm also experiencing a large degree of depression and anxiety, so it's difficult to know what's causing what. By the way, I did go off ALL my supplements (except for ReMag) for a week before slowly starting back on them, then adding the newer Dr. Dean products. Perhaps taking the "supplement vacation" was not the best thing for me to do. It's so hard to know!

An interesting aside regarding the magnesium ... one way I know I'm finally impacting my severe deficiency is that I can walk barefoot on hard flooring. With all my feet issues, this is something I've never been able to do my entire life before! And my foot/calf cramps have gone away plus I sleep very well at night. I'm sure I've got several more months to go before daring to try reducing my magnesium dosage but PROGRESS!!

Anyway, I'm another one, Deb, who would be glad to share my experiences, and I know Vanessa is so generous with her knowledge of what she's been through and how these products have helped her. Wishing everyone all the best and continued healing!

Hey Vanessa!

Thank you for your continued support! Yes, I feel I'm progressing in some ways, and yet the neurological symptoms (depression, anxiety, panic attacks/phobias) have been keeping me a prisoner at home. Trying to keep the faith in the process. How are YOU doing, dear one? You're always so concerned for everyone else. I hope you know how cherished you are and what an important asset and inspiration you are to so many of us here!

Holly,

You are too kind. You sure make me feel special! I think those symptoms your having are a result of what we've already discussed, in which case time and support (with the formulas), are the key factors. Keep the faith! And let more time pass....if there were such a thing as time
