This is very helpful information. The histamine issue must be why bone broth didn't agree with me when I have made it the traditional stove top way in the past and I gave up trying. Also, since I wasn't aware of the histamine issue, I just used meat from the grocery store shelf, when I should have searched out frozen, organic meats to use. Who knows how long the packed meats in the meat counter have been sitting around, giving waaaay too much time to increase the histamine content. I want to have the nutrition that bone broth provides, it seems like such a healthy food, so I will invest in a pressure cooker and give it a try with frozen, organic meats.

Thanks,

Rosie

I just made lamb bone broth and timed how long it actually cooked (heating time + pressure time + pressure reduction time). The total time was one hour and fifteen minutes. Actual pressure time was 30 minutes.
