PMs are much faster than email. Very often, I will receive a PM, and after reading it, half an hour later, or even an hour or two later, the notice for that PM will pop up in my email mailbox. Email is not always lightening fast, the way it is claimed to be. It can get bogged down somewhere and show up a day or so later. I've had that happen to me, before.
IOW, the email notices that you received may have been for PMs that you had already read, earlier.
I hope that Lou's test goes well, and the results are good.
