Too much magnesium?

Post by Suzy »

I am low in magnesium due to taking acid blocking drugs (which I'm now weaning off of). I get cramps in my feet and legs at night. I'm taking Doctor's Best magnesium glycinate powder (600mg day, or three scoops) plus 3 drops ReMag in water plus a few dropperfuls of Earth Minerals Magensium daily. Plus I rub on magnesium oil. The problem is I'm having loose stools frequently. Should I cut back on the mag? Thanks!

Hey Suzy,

Are you spreading your Dr. Best through out the day? I would go down a couple of pills on Dr. Best for a few days and see if that resolves the issue. And of course, in the world of MC it could be something you ate. What other ingredients are in the Earth Minerals magnesium?

Hi. I am spreading it out, but think I'll drop it 400mg a day. The Earth Minerals are just a liquid like REMag... thanks so much.

Hi Suzy,

I also use the ReMyte and the ReAlign, in addition to the ReMag. Feel free to ask anything or PM any specific questions - we're all here to help each other!
