Appointment withption new primary doc and LDN prescription

Post by bevfromwa »

I can hardly believe it! My new primary, freshly minted doctor, degree from University of Washington, residency at University of Colorado (my alma mater) was simply wonderful. I think I kind of presented this info, after much study and rehearsing, like I've been taking LDN either compounding it myself from an offshore pharmacy, or from a naturopath (cost $170 for an office call not covered by insurance), like it has helped and I want to continue. I said it has really made a difference. Not a panacea, but any steps, whether baby or slightly longer, are much appreciated.

She listened, had actually heard of MC, was open to new information, and printed out a prescription which I scanned and emailed to Skips. They responded that they had it and were working on it. I wanted to make sure they would check on my previous additives so I wouldn't be getting into anything toxic to me.

As you might imagine, I'm very happy about this new doctor, after about 5 tries to get a real doctor to prescribe it, I've won that battle.

thanks again to members who offered suggestions on how to get doctors to consider this.

Best of luck with the treatment.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
