Bill doesn't have ANY kind of doctor down here. Remember, he had the quad. bypass also a couple of years ago.
Sure, it bothers me, but I refuse to drive myself crazy when I can't do anything about it. If I try to force him to do things it makes him more stubborn and misirable and ME more misirable too. Don't put yourself or "He" through it.
I know you are worried and you dump here anytime. You know we listen and care......just try not to let it affect you to the point where YOU can't handle things. I know that's easier said than done and it does take faith and a good bit of "practice" but it is possible.

LOL. They do that because they are guys. It's an offshoot of the well known never-stop-and-ask-for-directions, characteristic, that almost all men have.
This is probably a carryover from prehistoric times, when humans lived in caves, and obtained most of their food by hunting. The men would go out and "hunt" for days at a time, before coming back home. All this time, the men were actually lost, and "hunting" the way back home, while their wives thought they were diligently hunting for somthing for the family to eat. They were too embarassed to admit to their wives that they were lost, so they just perpetuated the myth that they were hunting for game. There weren't any service stations to stop at and ask for directions in those days, so that's when they learned not to ever stop and ask for directions. Old habits are hard to break. LOL.

If not asking for directions is genetic then their is no doubt that my genetic makeup must really be out of whack. Countless times I have met the most wonderful people when I asked for directions. So many times I get the reply “ Oh, you don’t want to go that way anyway, their is a great campground , or restaurant, or waterfall, or swimming hole, or scenic overlook, or little museum if you go this other way and it is much faster without so much traffic”. So many times it starts a conversation and then “ come look at grandmas rocker or the boat, shed, staircase, cutting board, sculpture, chapel, deck or timber frame house I am building”
Asking directions even if I think I know where I am going is always an adventure. It always takes me somewhere I did not imagine going.

I remember when I went to Tacoma to visit Jill and I got a little lost in the city. I stopped and asked a woman who was just getting in to her car where J street was and she had me follow her in her car and led me right to Jill's house! How nice is that!
