Funny you asked since I just ate 6 slices of bacon as an evening snack.
On day 2 of protein only, (no supplements, no prescription meds) I got solid stool. This was after 4 months of WD once a day.
Day 3 I added rice and I got explosive WD again. I could tell rice, olive oil and ghee which I'd eaten for years were problematic.
At some point I added to the protein only: banana, avacado and coconut oil in nominal amounts. i.e. protein only for the day and 1 banana, protein only for the day and an avacado etc.
The toughest part was mental.
I can now eat rice and olive oil again. I'm still eating a lot of protein and slowly folding in small amounts of overcooked veggies.
