Happy Thanksgiving to my family here. Very thankful for everyone here, and all I have been able to learn. Family doesn't have to be blood related, it's those you spend time with. I remember spending A LOT of time (daily) here for several years. Wishing everyone a happy and healthy holiday.

Thank you, Paula. I hope everyone had a great day. I took all of my own food so there were no worries. I had a very enjoyable, relaxing day with my family. My thoughts were with my PP family as I know how hard these gatherings can be. I normally bake almond flour pumpkin bread for dessert to take along but it was a busy week and I didn't get a chance to make any so I took some N'oatmeal that I made from a recipe in The Healing Kitchen. My mom looked at it and said, "Oh, what is that? It doesn't look good." I just smiled and said that it is actually pretty good. (N'oatmeal has shredded carrots as the base instead of oatmeal.) Would I have preferred to enjoy some of the desserts that they were all eating? Heck yeah, but it is what it is. Enjoy the weekend, everyone!
