Paleo Meatballs with Sticky Peach Sauce

Post by Marcia K »

Good morning. I made this recipe to take to my work Christmas party. They were very good and I will definitely be making the meatballs again. My grocery store didn't have no sugar added peach preserves so I used apricot preserves. I don't think it made much of a difference.

You're very welcome Brenda and Vanessa. We're all in this together and I'm happy to share recipes that I think will work for most of us. It's so nice for me to eat something other than turkey!

I saw the recipe when you gave me the web site and cooking book recommendations. I have bought the ingredients but couldn't find peach jam either so I got apricot. I will try the recipe using turkey and pork. I made namato sauce spagetti using ground lamb for me last night. I need to spice it up more but I was a happy camper. while the rest of the family had regular spagetti.

I have been meaning to try the namato sauce, too. Glad you liked it! I want to get a spiralizer and try it with zucchini. It seems that a lot of paleo people love their zoodles made from zucchini.

I love zoodles. Be aware the zucchini can add moisture to a dish.

Thanks, Brenda. Do you have the hand-held spiralizer or one of the larger ones?

Mine is the hand held ome. I am the only one that will eat them. Hubby would rather have real pasta.
